Simple but good

Set your zones and get graphs for easy comparison and progress tracking. It’s great. I’d love to see integrated weight training planner and rep tracker so I don’t have to bounce between Aps while exercising.

I’ve been using Heart Graph for several years now, and it’s honestly one of the most reliable and accurate heart rate tracking apps out there. I use it several times a week during my workouts, and it’s never let me down. The interface is super intuitive, making it easy to monitor my heart rate in real-time and analyze my workout data afterward. What I love most is how customizable it is. You can set your own heart rate zones and see detailed graphs that help track your performance over time. It’s perfect for keeping tabs on your progress whether you’re running, cycling, or hitting the gym. Plus, it seamlessly integrates with my Apple Watch and other sensors, which is a huge bonus. I genuinely haven’t encountered any issues in all these years of use, which says a lot about the app’s quality and stability. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just looking to stay on top of your health, I can’t recommend Heart Graph enough!

Excellent App

I’ve been using the Heart Graph app to track my workouts, and it’s been a game-changer! My doctor recommended I keep my heart rate at 111 or above for 45 minutes every other day, and this app makes it so easy to see exactly how much time I’m spending in that zone. The real-time graph is clear and helpful, keeping me on track during my sessions. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to monitor their heart rate with precision.

Wonderful and Useful

I highly recommend this app and suggest it for anyone who likes to exercise. Unlocking the premium features for a small fee really expands on an already great app. I also suggest taking time to familiarize yourself with all the things this app has to offer. It has been a real game changer for my exercise routine. I link it with BT heart rate monitor so I get accurate results. Well worth the few bucks! I looked at a lot of alternatives, but none of them had such a rich feature set.

Having Issues?

If you are having issues with Heart Rate Graph, you should be patient and read through everything again. It has worked perfectly for me for years now. I use it daily. I am 77 years old. I go to the gym everyday. I do high intensity interval training. I also graph my sleep every night. This app is simple but thorough. The small one time fee allows me to alarm alert me to high heart rate during the day or night due to a medical condition I have. The app does not have annoying links and suggestions to junk. This app is simply the best.

Great app for tracking my workouts.

I like being able to compare previous workouts over time and particularly comparing the graphs of my HR.

Golf and walk

I use an iwatch and a Garmin heart monitor to track my golf, walking and various other exercises including a physical therapy program last year. The only problem I have had was an iwatch malfunction that showed a nine hour exercise session. It was easily deleted from this app. At eighty my exercise pulse rate is much higher than the age base range. So the adjustability of the five pulse ranges is a very important feature. It allows me to accurately record my workouts and adjust them accordingly. The ability to sort the workouts by labels is also important because not all workouts are performed with the same frequency and intensity. It allows for some balancing by adding some aerobic activity in with the non aerobic workouts.

As someone with CFS, this tool is a lifesaver

Without this tool, I would not be able to monitor my heart rate and would not be able to effectively keep my energy levels low and avoid hurting myself with CFS, since I started using this tool, my symptoms have become a lot more consistent, which is a massive deal.

I have been using heart graph for a few years now and it has been very ueseful graphing my heart rate during bicycling and more recently when I joined a running club. A great app!

Magnificent app!

Awesome app that I use for Strength training (2 different routines), cycling, mini-trampoline, walking, sleeping. I use this app every day. I have it on my iPad, iPhone, iPod. Works beautifully on each. You can pair it with so many different heart rate monitors. I have used Mio Link, Garmin Fenix 7x, WHOOP 4.0, Coros Heart Rate Monitor. All pair flawlessly. Can you tell that I love this app? I absolutely do! 👍👍

Great App for tracking heart rate during workouts.

I’ve really enjoyed using this app to monitor my heart rate during workouts. One of my favorite features is how it graphs my heart rate throughout the session, allowing me to see how different exercises and intensities impact my performance. Heart rate monitor

I have used this heart rate monitor for over three years after my husband and I started doing Beachbody during Covid. This heart rate monitor seems to be very accurate and has done a great job through all different kinds of workouts. I do have to change the battery more often than I thought but that makes sense when I work out over, an hour a day for seven days a week. I would recommend this heart rate monitor as a good product.

Does exactly what I want it to do

I want an app that will verbally announce my heart rate and also display a real time graph of my heart rate relative to zones that are customizable. This app is perfect for me. There are more functions that I have not yet explored.

If all you need or want is an app to monitor your heart rate during various types of exercise, then this is the app for you. Nothing extra, nothing less, just what it says it will do. Best of all is the privacy policy. If you care about keeping your health data to yourself and dislike when your data becomes someone else’s opportunity to make money, this app is the one. Simple and effective

Great simple app that offers customizable spoken heart rate (with premium $2.99). My only request would be to add the ability to add spoken duration to a workout. I.e. speaks duration at specified intervals, 1, 5, 10 minutes, etc.

Works with several monitors

Great app - have used it with Powrlab and Polar Heart rate monitors.

I love this app. Devs listen.

I have used this app for years for all of my sports activities. It’s great paired to my polar or just using the Apple Watch. Everything from HIIT to lifting to steady state cardio and competitive equestrian sports. The compare feature and ability to set my own ranges is very helpful. My only issue has been that as an equestrian I wear gloves and since the display on the Apple Watch was not always on, I couldn’t wake the watch. I submitted this as a feature request a few months ago and it has recently been added. Thanks! This makes an already great app perfect for me.

The Calorie calculation is way high for the indoor cycling and no option to adjust it

More than five years of consistent app use has given me an unparalleled dataset for all my exercise routines. Sometimes Apple Watch skips a few minutes of heart rate which the app handles without a problem. Highly recommend.

Excellent for my needs

Monitoring my HR as I exercise is particularly important for me secondary to diagnosed heart related concerns. Monitoring with this app. motivates me and guides my pace to stay in the HR zone I am working on that day. The program allows me to compare progress across workouts and time. Excellent product.

Excellent app

Updated: I have used this app 24/7 for over 5 years. I am monitoring and managing an illness where I have to pace very restrictively to avoid getting worse. I start a new 24-hour session every morning. I appreciate the ability to customize zones, as my upper limit and therefore intermediate zones are much lower than typical. Heartrate is clear and easy to see as are zone divisions. Alarms are helpful, and each zone has an appropriate number of beeps to indicate the level. The ability to compare workouts (for me, entire days) is very helpful for tracking progress as well as the longterm comparison of all sessions. I tried several apps before settling on this one. It has been by far the best for my needs.

Unimpressive and buggy

This app is very sparse, the UI is cumbersome, and the features are extremely buggy too. The app also freezes up a lot and often drops the connection to my Polar H10. The heart rate graph doesn’t work properly either. I even paid $2.99 for the full version, as the free version basically does nothing at all. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max for reference. Will be requesting a refund from Apple.

Great app for HR monitoring

I have a chronic medical condition that requires me to not over exert myself. Heart Graph provides me with vital data I need to ensure I don’t exceed my HR threshold during activities. I use the workout feature with a chest strap to record my HR all day long. It’s really helpful to be able to set HR ranges and have the bell sound to let me know each time I’m crossing a threshold. That allows me to change position or cool off before I cause myself harm. I love that I am able to review the amount of time I spend in each HR range as this helps me directly compare how I feel with what my vitals were. Without this app I wouldn’t have been able to stabilize my condition and gain some small improvements. My only wish is that the app was available for android (I bought an iPad mini just to use this app, but it would be more convenient if it could be used on my phone instead). Thanks for this great, reliable app!

A must-have tool for fitness!

My trainer turned me on to Heart Graph and now I can’t work out without it! Accurate tracking of my workout sessions and it’s so helpful to know heart rate zones. Highly recommend!

Tremendously helpful for CFS and keeping track of your heart rate

I have used this every day for 3 years now, and it has been instrumental in allowing me to track my heart rate and find trends with my CFS to better control it.

Analytical Insights

I cycle with a chest strap 3-4 times per week and now have over 9-years of second-by-second data. I’m 66 and my heart has changed a lot over that time. I don’t need to run this app every day for analysis, but it’s always been perfect when I needed it. It allows me to talk with my cardiologist with real data instead of vague feelings and impressions. I feel that I get better care than other patients because we’re not guessing.

Simple to use. Effective

Links well with my cool spo chest band pulse monitor and reliably tracks and keeps in history my workouts. I use a iPhone 2nd gen SE with it Only once in a week or so I reboot my phone to assure linking. Works smoother than my Fitbit app and seems more reliable and accurate. The report is simple and easy to understand and each workout comes with its own graph. IMHO perfect app for pulse tracking for workout and can even track resting rate.update-several years later still relying on this app to capture heart rate essentials still linking well with coolspo sensor and working with latest apple iOS in my iPhone SE 2nd gen.

Great for HR based pacing with chronic illness

Great app that’s very functional and perfect for my HR based pacing with ME and POTS. I’ve used it nearly everyday for two months now and around the clock most days. It’s been an excellent addition to my toolkit. PROS: + customizable HR zones +++ continuous alarm when over your target HR (key for pacing purposes) + pairs easily with different HRMs including Apple Watch, Polar H10, and Polar Verity Sense + good filterable view of data over time CONS: - sometimes doesn’t pair until restarted or need to reset monitoring settings; always easy to fix this though - can’t view graphs/analysis during workouts - custom session labels don’t transfer between devices, so need to label on phone and again on iPad - no option for HRV metrics with capable monitors Despite the cons, I’m highly pleased with this app. It’s one of the best I’ve found. Thanks to Angela at Holistic ME CFS for sharing the app and instructions in her book on pacing with a HRM.

Happy with the app

I suffered a major heart attack back in July of 2022. My cardiologist said that I needed to monitor my heart rate when exercising. I have used this app since my cardiac rehab. It’s on my iPhone and is connected to my Apple Watch. I use it during all of my cardio workouts. I have my heart rate zones set for my situation with audio alarms that notify me each time I pass into another heart rate zone. The app works perfectly for me and I am glad to have it.

Great app for analysis

This is the best app I’ve used for graphing heart rates after a workout. Being able to superimpose workouts to see progression is a great training aid.

Won’t pair so useless

It won’t pair with my Polar H9 sensor. That one is not some obscure cheap Chinese thing. It pairs with a bunch of other apps but not with this one.
